A Little About Me – Saumy Mittal

Hi, I’m Saumy Mittal from Rajasthan. I’m someone who enjoys exploring ideas—whether through mathematics, writing, or music. At present, I’m doing research in mathematics at the University of Rajasthan. I’ve studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in my graduation, followed by a master’s in mathematics and a B.Ed.

Over the years, I’ve cleared exams like UGC CSIR NET JRF, REET, and CTET—not to chase titles, but to keep learning and growing. I also run a YouTube channel where I try to explain mathematical concepts in a simple way, mostly for students preparing for competitive exams.

Writing is close to my heart. I maintain a small blog, www.saumymittal.in, where I share thoughts on life, society, and sometimes just quiet observations.

Apart from academics, I like playing the flute and piano (though not very professionally). I enjoy working with languages—Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and Urdu—and I have a general interest in design and tech tools too.

I’m still learning, still figuring things out—just trying to share what little I know in a way that might help or resonate with others.
